New Fiction! “The Great Escape”

My story “The Great Escape” is featured as a podcast by Second Hand Stories.

The story is a fictional account of the very real tradition of holding a seánce for Harry Houdini annually on the anniversary of his death, Halloween. I wrote about the Houdini séance for Dirge Magazine.

Elizabeth Carter did the recording for this podcast. I much prefer the sound of her voice to mine, especially when she’s reading the character of Dororthy Revnick, “the sexiest magician of the late 80’s.”
