Frederic Edwin Church’s Niagara

I have a piece up at Daily Art Magazine about Frederic Edwin Church’s 1857 painting “Niagara” which lives in Washington, D.C. at the National Gallery of Art.

I used this painting as the cover image for my podcast as well. It’s a remarkable work, and I’m glad to have had an excuse to learn more about it. Click to read “Masterpiece Story: Niagara by Frederic Edwin Church.”
